A story of Romeo and Juliet rewritten.
A lot of tension and manipulation through the lives of both characters.
Past and present, left me holding my breath.
Carrie the pretty rich girl who thinks she earn her place to do whatever she wants but definitely not at heart. Ignoring all signs, her beauty get her to places but her name was still an obstacle to her happiness.
Talented but broken boy, showing his love through music, can’t do much more than that. An impossible love to win any acceptance in the Drazen family.
Somewhat sensual dark story, you must read.
I was gifted with an arc so I did try to do my best to review.
