Raine Miller is excited to share a special anniversary hardcover edition of her first book, The Passion of Darius, a Gothic Tale of Love and Seduction.

Boreas was painted in 1904 by John William Waterhouse and was mostly forgotten for about 90 years. It gained attention when it was put up for sale in the mid-1990s.
I loved it the first time I saw it. The colors and the sad expression of the girl in Waterhouse’s painting were exactly how I imagined Marianne George.
A clear image of a injured heroine, with her calm, quiet beauty as she looked out at the sea. She stood in the strong wind, atoning for an unknown sin.
